You’ve finally received your Tesla (after months of waiting) and you’re wondering how to activate that light show you’ve seen in the videos online. If that’s the case, you’ve come to the right place.
The Light Show was added by Tesla across its fleet of vehicles in January last year and it has been in the news, especially during the Christmas holidays.
I’m gonna cut the crap and get straight into activating it.
Activate Light Show in Any Tesla
Be sure to park your vehicle in a sufficiently open space.
- Put your vehicle in the park.
- Tap on the three dots to open the app launcher.
- Tap on the Toybox and you’ll see many fun apps that your Tesla comes with.
- Do you see the Light Show app? Tap on that and click “Begin this show” to activate Light Show.
- You’ll see a small popup telling you that the show will start once you exit the vehicle and all doors are closed.
- This is where you can also set the volume level.
Stop Light Show in Any Tesla
To stop the Light Show, you can either use
- any door handle or
- trunk button
